Spotlight on our First Notes Teacher – Mita Rossello

We first met Mita as an enthusiastic 12 year old, when she came for a free trial voice lesson. Even at this early stage, we could see that Mita had an unshakable passion for music.  She never missed a lesson, practiced diligently and attended every single performance event that was humanly possible. I think the only ones she missed were when she was either under anaesthetic or out of the country.

Not long after beginning singing lessons with Clare, Mita showed an interest in guitar and also began learning with Adrian. Over the years she has developed her abilities enough to play a number of public solo gigs as well as accompany many of our students at performance events.

In 2017, Mita completed her Cert III in Music Industry Skills, and proudly received a very high result.

Mita not only has a very obvious passion for her music, but is also very good at dealing with people. In particular, young people. Her ability to connect, make them feel comfortable in her presence and inspire them to be the best they can be is why she was asked to become one of our First Notes Teachers.

Having had many years of lessons under both Adrian and Clare’s direction, means Mita knows how we work, knows our business well and is the perfect advocate to pass this on to our First Notes Community.

Mita has a current Level 2 First Aid Certificate, A Working With Children Check and has worked with children for the past 5 years.

Come along to one of our First Notes Classes and have a free trial lesson with Mita!

She’d absolutely love to see you and get you started on your singing and performance journey!
